Parliament security breach brought focus on unemployment issue, say Opposition MPs

Opposition lawmakers said Thursday that the security breach in the Lok Sabha highlighted the country's unemployment problem and showed flaws in security systems.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi was telling the opposition not to let out the anger of assembly poll defeat during the Parliament session. Now, people have themselves come to the House to vent their anguish,” Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury told reporters here.

He said that the demonstrators who broke into the Lok Sabha chamber showed flaws in Parliament House security. According to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, the young who penetrated Parliament security were expressing the country's discontent with unemployment and inflation. He stated that individuals involved in the security breach were not terrorists.
